Hotel Key Cards

The card your locks were waiting for

Every hotel lock brand reads a specific chip. We identify yours, confirm it with test samples, then print cards your front desk can issue with total confidence.

Custom-printed hotel key cards for major locking systems

Key card types we manufacture

RFID Key Cards — Cardotel

RFID Key Cards

Contactless cards for modern locking systems — Saflok, Onity, SALTO, VingCard, Kaba/dormakaba, TTLock and most others. We match the chip (MIFARE Classic® 1K, Ultralight®, DESFire® and more) to your exact lock generation before anything goes to print.

  • Chip verified against your lock brand, model and firmware generation
  • MIFARE Classic® / Ultralight® / DESFire®, NTAG®, LF 125 kHz options
  • 100% encoding and read testing before packing
Magstripe Key Cards — Cardotel

Magstripe Key Cards

Still running Onity, Saflok or Miwa magstripe locks? We produce HiCo and LoCo magnetic stripe key cards by the million — the economical standard for properties that have not migrated to RFID yet.

  • HiCo (2750 Oe) and LoCo (300 Oe) stripes to match your encoders
  • Typically the lowest-cost key card format per piece
  • Front-desk friendly: same size and print quality as RFID cards
Hybrid RFID + Magstripe Cards — Cardotel

Hybrid RFID + Magstripe Cards

One card carrying both a chip and a magnetic stripe — the safe choice mid-migration, when some floors have new RFID locks and others still swipe.

  • Bridge solution during lock system upgrades
  • Any supported RFID chip combined with HiCo or LoCo stripe
  • Avoids double inventory at the front desk
Premium & Specialty Finishes — Cardotel

Premium & Specialty Finishes

Key cards guests photograph: metallic foils, spot UV, embossing, frosted and matte-soft-touch laminates, die-cut shapes and metal-look finishes that carry your brand from lobby to room.

  • Foil stamping, spot UV, embossing, soft-touch lamination
  • PMS color matching on German offset presses
  • Variable data: numbering, barcodes, QR codes, signature panels

Inside the factory

How your key cards are made

One roof in Dongguan, China: printing, lamination, chip embedding, encoding and QC on our own lines since 2008. Here is the journey from raw sheet to the card your front desk hands over.

  1. Materials in

    1 · Materials in

REACH & RoHS-compliant PVC, FSC®-option wood veneers and chip inlays — every batch verified before it touches a press.

  2. Offset printing

    2 · Offset printing

German offset presses with Pantone spot-color matching held to roughly 5–10% against your brand standard.

  3. Lamination & embedding

    3 · Lamination & embedding

Printed cores are collated and fused under heat and pressure, sealing the antenna and chip inside a rigid CR80 body.

  4. Encoding & 100% testing

    4 · Encoding & 100% testing

Every single card is read-tested before packing — not a sample, all of them. UID lists supplied on request.

  5. Finishing & packing

    5 · Finishing & packing

Die-cutting, slot punching and per-property packing on automated lines, labeled so each front desk gets the right box.

100% read-tested No sampling — every card passes a reader before it ships.
PMS color held to ~5–10% Proofed against your Pantone code or physical reference.
REACH & RoHS materials Compliance documentation available for procurement.
Your keys stay yours We never hold your locking system’s secret keys — encoding of access data happens only at your property.

Rather see it than read it?

Three minutes inside a card line: sheet printing, collation, lamination and punching — the same fundamentals our Dongguan facility runs at over one million cards per month. Want proof in your own hands instead? The sample pack ships free.

  • Elevator and floor access control
  • On-property spending and loyalty identification
  • Parking and facility access

Hotel key card questions, answered

How do I know which key card works with my locks?

Tell us your lock brand and model (for example Saflok MT, Onity Trillium, SALTO XS4, VingCard Signature) — or mail us one working card. We identify the chip your system reads, send free test samples, and only start production after your doors have confirmed them.

Do you supply both RFID and magnetic stripe key cards?

Yes. We produce contactless RFID cards for modern locks, HiCo/LoCo magstripe cards for legacy systems, and hybrid cards carrying both — useful while a property migrates floor by floor.

What do hotel key cards cost?

As a factory-direct manufacturer we quote per project, since chip type, material, finish and volume drive the price. As a rough guide: magstripe cards are the most economical, standard MIFARE-compatible RFID cards sit in the mid range, and wooden or specialty-finish cards cost more per piece. Send your quantity and lock system for an exact quote within about 12 hours.

Can you reproduce cards from my current supplier?

We can match the chip type, material, size and print finish of your current cards so they work identically in your locks. We do not copy encoded security data — your locking system provider or PMS encodes cards on site as usual.

What is the minimum order?

From 100 pieces for standard PVC cards. Most hotels order 1,000–10,000 per property per year; volume pricing improves significantly at those quantities.
