Orbita hotel locks ship worldwide and are common in budget and midscale properties across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. If your property came with Orbita hardware, its credentials are usually standard formats.
Current Orbita RFID models are commonly paired with MIFARE Classic 1K (S50) cards. Older lines, and some low-frequency configurations, used T5577 (Temic-style) cards at 125 kHz instead. The two look identical in the hand and are not interchangeable, so confirm the installed reader with your installer and test samples in your own locks when the generation is unclear.
Which chip does Orbita read?
Reader and credential options depend on the installed model and configuration. Confirm the specification, preparation and sample plan, then test on your encoder and representative doors before ordering.

An authorized operator should issue samples and check the required doors and readers, including reissue and expiry. Agree acceptance criteria before approving the printed order.

Which cards do Orbita hotel locks use?
Current Orbita RFID models are commonly paired with MIFARE Classic 1K (S50); older or low-frequency lines used T5577 (125 kHz) cards. Our supplier just says “Orbita cards”. How do we avoid the wrong chip?
S50 and T5577 cards look identical but are incompatible. Record the lock model, encoder and current card part number, and share those non-sensitive details through the inquiry form or WhatsApp. Confirm with samples rather than guessing from the brand.
Can we get branded cards for a budget hotel?
Yes. Specify the chip, material, quantity per design, printing and destination; pricing and minimum order are confirmed in a dated quote.
Do you supply the encoders too?
Encoding hardware and software come from your lock system vendor. Cards are supplied against the confirmed chip specification, ready to enroll on your existing front-desk equipment after sample testing.
