A price range is not a compatibility statement. Confirm the chip with test samples in your own locks before ordering.

Hune hotel locks have a strong footprint in Latin American, Middle Eastern and Asian hospitality, typically in budget to midscale properties and serviced apartments. Like several high-volume lock families, the catalogue spans two radio technologies.

Current Hune RFID models are commonly paired with MIFARE Classic 1K. Earlier lines and some regional configurations ran T5577 (Temic-style) cards at 125 kHz. Because the two are indistinguishable by eye and mutually incompatible, confirm the installed reader with your installer and test samples in your own locks whenever the generation is uncertain.

Which chip does Hune read?

Reader and credential options depend on the installed model and configuration. Confirm the specification, preparation and sample plan, then test on your encoder and representative doors before ordering.

App-enabled deployments Cards alongside app keys Cards usually remain standard issue; confirm the card credential separately from the app setup.

How verification works

  1. 1

    Record the installed system

Find the lock and encoder model labels and ask your installer for the issuing software and current credential specification. A card photo alone does not identify security configuration.

  2. 2

    Confirm the proposed credential

Send non-sensitive system details to sales@cardotel.com or through the inquiry form. Agree the card specification and sample purpose, availability, costs and shipping.

  3. 3

    Test before approval

An authorized operator should issue samples and check the required doors and readers, including reissue and expiry. Agree acceptance criteria before approving the printed order.

Hune key card questions

Which cards fit Hune hotel locks?

Current Hune RFID models are commonly paired with MIFARE Classic 1K; older lines used T5577 at 125 kHz. Confirm the installed reader with your installer and test samples in your own doors before production; a sample plan can include both candidates where the generation is uncertain.

We are in Mexico. Can we enquire in Spanish?

The site and inquiry form are available in Spanish at cardotel.com/es/. Shipping to Latin America, courier options and tracking are confirmed in the quote for your destination.

Our old card supplier disappeared and we do not know our chip. Now what?

Record the lock model, encoder and issuing software, and keep a working card for reference. Share those non-sensitive details through the inquiry form or WhatsApp; the confirmed specification can be kept on file so reorders reference the same tested sample.

Are eco materials available for Hune systems?

Wooden, bamboo, paper and degradable-PVC bodies can carry the same MIFARE Classic 1K inlay commonly used by Hune RFID models. The lock reads the chip, not the material, but confirm reader performance for the chosen construction with a sample.
