CISA hotel locks, today part of Allegion, are installed across Italy, wider Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The installed base stretches from long-serving magstripe models to the eSIGNO contactless family.
Magstripe CISA estates run on LoCo cards. CISA RFID generations, including eSIGNO, are commonly paired with MIFARE Classic 1K, with property-specific configurations decided at installation. Treat these as reference pairings: confirm the installed lock and current credential with your installer, then test samples in your own doors before approving a printed order.
Which chip does CISA read?
Reader and credential options depend on the installed model and configuration. Confirm the specification, preparation and sample plan, then test on your encoder and representative doors before ordering.

Record the installed system
Find the lock and encoder model labels and ask your installer for the issuing software and current credential specification. A card photo alone does not identify security configuration.

Confirm the proposed credential
Send non-sensitive system details to sales@cardotel.com or through the inquiry form. Agree the card specification and sample purpose, availability, costs and shipping.

Test before approval
An authorized operator should issue samples and check the required doors and readers, including reissue and expiry. Agree acceptance criteria before approving the printed order.

Which cards work with CISA eSIGNO locks?
eSIGNO and related CISA RFID generations are commonly paired with MIFARE Classic 1K. Configurations can vary by installation, so confirm the current credential with your installer and test samples in your actual doors before production.
Do you still make cards for old CISA magstripe locks?
LoCo magstripe cards for legacy CISA estates can be printed to your artwork, and hybrid chip + magstripe cards can be discussed for properties upgrading floor by floor. Confirm the stripe specification and test a sample on your encoder first.
Our CISA locks came with the building and we know nothing else. Where do we start?
Record the lock model (the inside plate if visible), the encoder and issuing software, and keep a current working card for reference. Share those non-sensitive details through the inquiry form or WhatsApp so a sample plan can be agreed; a site visit is not normally needed.
Can you match our current card design?
Provide a physical reference card and, where available, PMS references. Material, thickness, finish and colour are matched as closely as the selected construction allows; confirm the proof and a printed sample before approving the order.
